Stay a while.
Live a little slower.
Off-grid co-living in the mountains of Valencia
Rayo del Sol is a small off-grid co-living in the Valencian mountains, 40 minutes from the city. It suits people who work remotely and would rather do it surrounded by almond trees than in another rented flat in another city. Stay by the month, work from the villa, and live as part of a small, easy community that shares dinners, slow mornings and the odd fire-lit evening.
Slow co-living
Co-living, at a gentler pace
Co-living here is slow. There is space to focus, and just as much space to stop. You work when you need to, then close the laptop and step into a garden, a pool, or a mountain trail. The community is small and genuine, the kind where people cook for each other and actually talk. It is a good fit for remote workers, writers, makers, and anyone who wants their working life to sit inside a fuller one.
Working from here
Off-grid, but never out of reach
There is a co-working corner in the villa and wifi in the communal areas, fine for video calls and a handful of people working at once. Walk out onto the land and the signal fades, which turns out to be the best focus tool there is. Power comes from the sun, water from the spring, and the days are quiet enough to actually think.
A day here
What a working day looks like
You set the balance. Some people work full weeks, others use it as a slower base between projects.
The community
Who ends up here
Remote workers taking a break from the city, creatives between projects, and people who want to live more simply for a season. It is intergenerational and open-minded, and it works best if you come ready to share space, muck in a little, and value calm over convenience. There is a psychologist on site too, so if living differently stirs something up, or you just want someone to talk to, that is here. Come as a guest, leave as family. People mean it here.
How it works
Staying by the month
Co-living works by the month, so you have time to settle into the rhythm rather than just passing through. You get a room, the shared spaces, and everything the land offers, from the pool to the clay pizza oven. Tell us roughly how long you are thinking and what you are working on, and we will get back to you with more details.

Yes, for a handful of people at a time. There is wifi in the villa and communal areas that handles video calls and remote work, though it is not built for twenty people streaming at once. Out on the land the signal drops, which is when the real focus happens.
-
Co-living is a monthly rhythm, and many people stay for a season. If you want a shorter taste of the place first, a holiday stay is the way in.

Not at all. They are there if you want them. Plenty of people dip in and out depending on their week.
-
Yes, if you are the kind who wants nature, focus and community rather than a busy coworking scene. It is a slower base than most nomad hubs, on purpose.
-
The villa runs year-round, so co-living is not just a summer thing. The tipis are the seasonal ones, April to October.
